VeBe Paris

VeBe Paris was a company established during the 1940s by Bompois et Viard of 123 rue Saint-Maur, Paris. They had a few patents starting in 1946. Initially the company made sprays for brilliantines, but also produced travel atomizers for the pocket or purse. Their best known style is the Ambassade which made its debut in 1966. The Ambassade is a rectangular shape, usually of goldtoned finished, and can be had in a variety of decoration including Limoges porcelain plaques, tweed fabrics, enameling or engine cut guilloche designs.

Guide Ouest Africain, 1949:

"VAPORIZERS FOR BRILLANTINE - BOMPOIS and VIARD 123, R. St-Maur PARIS (XIe) V.B. WATERPROOF VAPORIZERS for travel ADAPTABLE VAPORIZERS on bottles."
