Marcas et Dardel

Marcas et Dardel have been misnamed Marcas et Bardel for years. The correct spelling is Marcas et Dardel (but is slightly misspelled as seen on this old advertisement from 1910.)

Some mountings used by Marcas & Dardel are: Le Parisien, Olive, Losange, and Teddy.

A 1928 ad states "Marcas et Dardel - Manufacturers of vaporizers of all kinds, all systems and toilet fittings. Specialties: The famous patented vaporizers with hermetic closure, pump and bulb. "The Parisian." Realizing the ideal of the perfect travel vaporizer with these 3 qualities: #1. Waterproof: in the city - the perfume does not evaporate, when traveling - the perfume does not leak, therefore no risk of damage to bags and travel kits. #2. Simplicity: no more hardening leather. No more threads that collapse with use. #3. Solidity: perfect and careful construction; the essential parts are made of copper.

A very simply written instruction in several languages indicating how to use it is given with each vaporizer.
